Beverly Wright, Ph.D. is a Professor Emeritus at Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a social justice advocate and expert in environmental justice and civil rights. She is an author and lecturer, and has received several awards for her work, including the National Civil Rights Museum’s Freedom Award, the Ford Foundation’s Visionary Award, and the NAACP’s Trailblazer Award.
